Hi Nefertiti! I'm Sumeria, just looking at this site - I thought I'd answer your question. The New Kingdom is a period of Egyptian history. The New Kingdom takes place after the Archaic, Old, Middle and Intermediate periods and it stretches over the years 1550-1070BCE and the 18th and 19th dynasties (That includes Hatshepsut I believe, as well as other rulers like Tuthmosis and Amenophis, Akenaten, Tutankhamun, Aye, Nefertiti, Seti, Ramesses II and many more).
